Boat Overview
The Bavaria 38 Cruiser is a well-balanced sailboat for guests who want a confident, comfortable charter experience in the Aegean. Based in Lavrion, Greece, this 11.72 m cruiser combines classic sailing feel with practical onboard systems. Built in 2008, she is a 3-cabin layout offering 6 berths in cabins, ideal for couples, small families, or friends traveling together—together, yet still with privacy.
Under sail, the bow thruster helps with low-speed handling in busy marinas. Navigation and communication are ready for day and night: GPS plotter, VHF radio, and an echosounder support precise route planning and anchoring. Autopilot reduces workload on longer legs. Power management is covered by a battery charger, an inverter, and a solar panel for calmer days of cruising.
Comfort is not an afterthought. Hot water, a refrigerator, and a well-equipped galley with kitchen utensils, cutlery, and practical 220 V and 12 V connections make meals easy. Inside, electric fans and electric toilets add modern convenience. Outside, the cockpit is designed for living onboard: cockpit shower, teak deck, cockpit cushions, and a cockpit table for relaxed stops. The bimini top and sprayhood protect you from sudden sun and sea spray. For sailing efficiency, roll genoa and roll main sail keep sail handling simple.
