Oceanis 46.1 sailing yacht – Palairos

Yacht Overview

From our experience with guests who have trusted us over the years, the Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 is one of those sailboats that simply feels “right” the moment you step aboard. Based in Palairos, Greece, it’s an excellent choice for a charter or rental week along the Ionian coast—comfortable, modern, and easy to live with. We think it’s especially appealing for groups who want real sailing time without giving up everyday comfort.

Built in 2021, this 14.6 m sailing yacht offers four cabins and a practical layout that suits both families and friends. In total, it accommodates 8 guests in cabins, plus 2 additional berths—so everyone can unwind after a day of swimming coves or watching the sunset turn the water copper. Actually, we have noticed that the cabin count and berth flexibility are often what make the difference between a “nice trip” and a “perfect vacation.”

On the sailing side, we recommend paying attention to the sail setup. The self-tacking jib and the fully battened main are more than just technical details; from our knowledge, they make handling smoother and keep the boat performing confidently, even when the crew is small. Quick adjustments, steady balance, and a confident feel under sail—yes, it matters!

If you’re planning your next escape from Palairos, we state with certainty that the Oceanis 46.1 brings a balanced mix of space, capability, and contemporary comfort. We have seen our guests return with the same comment: “We sailed more than we expected!”
