From our experience advising guests, Lagoon 40 is a very practical catamaran for a relaxed charter in the Tyrrhenian Sea. We have noticed that the layout works especially well for parties who want comfort without losing the easy, stable feel that multihulls are known for. Built in 2019, this sailboat is modern, well-finished, and ideal for guests starting their sailing days from Salerno.
With a length of 11.74 m and a beam of 6.76 m, she offers a spacious deck and a calm ride at anchor and underway. Our guests who have booked with us so far particularly like the 5-cabin configuration. In total, she sleeps 8 in cabins, plus 2 additional berths, which gives flexibility for families and groups that travel together but want some room to breathe.
For navigation and day-to-day handling, we recommend a setup that includes a GPS plotter and VHF radio, alongside wind, speed, and depth instruments. Actually, we state with certainty that these details make a noticeable difference when you’re moving between coves around the Salerno area. The bimini top and cockpit cushions help the interior-to-cockpit flow feel effortless, even when the sun is strong!!
On board comfort is supported by air conditioning and electric fans, and the electric toilet system adds convenience during longer stays. For provisioning, the refrigerator is there when you want cold drinks ready on arrival. If you plan to stay longer away from marinas, the watermaker is a key point—our team has seen many happy faces when guests realize they can extend their cruising plans.
