Yacht Overview
We’ve chartered in the Adriatic for years, and we can say with confidence that the Bavaria Cruiser 33 is one of those sailboats that simply feels “right” the moment you step aboard. Based in Kaštela, Croatia, this 2017-built cruiser is designed for relaxed rental sailing, whether you’re planning a romantic week or a comfortable family escape.
With two cabins, it offers 4 berths in cabins plus 1 additional berth, a layout our guests consistently find practical and quietly luxurious. Actually, the best part is how the space is organized: you get privacy when you want it, and an easy flow when you’re enjoying the coast. The sails are also refreshingly current—main sail and genoa renewed in 2023—so you’ll feel confident leaving the harbor and letting the wind do the work.
At 9.99 meters in length and 3.42 meters in width, she strikes a smart balance: agile enough for lively days, stable enough for calmer evenings. We’ve noticed that this size is especially forgiving for first-time renters who still want a real cruising experience.
Onboard, the essentials are thoughtfully covered, from GPS plotter and VHF radio to autopilot, barometer, and an electric anchor windlass. For comfort, there’s a bimini top and cockpit shower, plus a kitchen setup that makes simple meals feel special. And yes—there’s a tender aboard for easy shore access, along with safety equipment and navigation documents.
If you’re looking for a rental sailboat with a refined, editorial kind of ease, this Bavaria Cruiser 33 in Kaštela is a choice we’d happily recommend. Let the sea take the lead—just bring the mood!!!
