Yacht Overview
We’ve guided many guests through the Adriatic, and the Dufour 48 Catamaran (built in 2024) is one of the most confident choices we can recommend for a comfortable group stay in Croatia. This catamaran is based in Primošten, where the coastline is beautiful and the sea stays inviting from morning to late evening—perfect for charter and rental plans.
With 6 cabins, it comfortably hosts up to 10 guests in the cabins, plus 2 extra berths when needed. From our experience, that layout works especially well for families, small friend groups, and couples who still want privacy without splitting the trip. The onboard feel is modern and bright, and we’ve noticed guests relax quickly once they’re onboard. The 14.7 m length and 8 m width provide stable, easy handling at anchor and on the move.
Purpose matters, and this one is clearly made for cruising with comfort. We state with certainty that the navigation setup is complete and reassuring, including AIS and radar, plus a GPS chart plotter both at the cockpit and “on the fly.” Safety and convenience go hand in hand: electric toilets, a black water tank, and a hydraulic gangway make boarding and living aboard smooth.
For evenings, our guests love the practical comforts: air conditioning, heating, a dishwasher, and a cockpit fridge. You can also count on fresh drinks and meals thanks to the coffee machine, microwave, freezer, and refrigerator. For leisure, there’s a SUP stand-up paddle and a dinghy with an outboard engine—great for quick beach hops.
We also appreciate the smart power approach: solar panels, an inverter, and a generator keep things running reliably. And yes, the teak deck and cockpit teak add that “instant holiday” vibe!
