We’ve advised many guests sailing from Biograd na Moru, and the new First 36 (built in 2025) is exactly the kind of sailboat that feels confident from the first maneuver. This rental sailboat is designed for comfortable days on the Adriatic, with 3 cabins and a total capacity of 6 berths in cabins plus 2 additional berths, so families and small groups can stay aboard without feeling cramped. We actually like the layout for practical cruising: everyone has their own space, yet the cockpit remains social when the wind drops.

At 10.98 m length and 3.8 m beam, she’s nimble for her size, and for charter use that matters a lot. Our experience shows that guests appreciate the bathing platform for easy access to the sea, especially during warm Croatian afternoons. Safety and navigation are also properly covered. We’ve noticed the autopilot and GPS plotter help you keep a steady course, while the VHF radio is the right tool for routine communication along the coast.

From our knowledge, the First 36 rental setup is well thought out for real life aboard: a galley with an oven and refrigerator, hot water and heating for cooler evenings, and a solar panel to support onboard needs. There’s also a black water tank, which our guests value when they plan longer coastal stops.

When conditions turn, the full-batten mainsail and the bimini top keep handling predictable—no drama, just sailing. We recommend checking the crew’s comfort with the cockpit shower and removable cockpit table before departure. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference!
