We’ve guided many guests through the Adriatic, and the Dufour 430 in Split is a very sensible choice for a charter or rental sail. We state with certainty that this is a modern, comfortable four-cabin sailing yacht, built in 2019, with a layout designed for real life aboard. With 8 berths in cabins plus 2 additional berths, it suits families and groups who want privacy without giving up sociable spaces.
From our experience, the most practical advantage is how the yacht balances sailing performance with day-to-day comfort. At 13.24 m length and 4.3 m beam, she feels stable and manageable, especially when you’re cruising the coastline around Split and planning short hops between coves. Our guests often mention the cockpit setup—there’s a cockpit table with light and a grill, so lunch after anchoring feels easy. We also like the self-tacking jib and the gennaker-device; they help keep sail handling straightforward when the wind builds.
For safety and autonomy, we’ve noticed the complete onboard readiness: electric and mechanical bilge pumps, an electric anchor windlass, a VHF radio, radar reflector, and an inflatable life raft. The yacht also carries the essentials for secure anchoring and mooring, including fenders, mooring ropes, and a shore connection for 220 V.
If you’re arriving by car or bus in Split, the location is excellent—everything is close, and the marina access makes embarkation smooth.
