Yacht Overview
We’ve guided countless guests through the Aegean, and the Oceanis 51.1 stands out for one reason: it feels crafted for effortless, elegant days at sea. Based in Athens, Greece, this 2020 sailboat is a refined choice for anyone looking to charter in true comfort—without sacrificing that unmistakable sailing character.
With five cabins, it accommodates eight guests in private, cabin-style living, plus two additional berths when your party needs a little extra space. We’ve noticed how important this balance is for families and small groups: everyone gets their own rhythm, yet the shared moments in the salon still feel intimate.
At 15.94 meters, the layout is intelligently proportioned. The salon and sleeping quarters feel calm and uncluttered, and the bimini top adds welcome shade when the sun turns bright and bold—Athens summers do that! For day-to-day handling, our experience suggests the onboard systems make a noticeable difference. The autopilot and bow thruster help keep the maneuvering smooth in busy ports, while the GPS chart plotter supports confident navigation along the coastline.
Charter guests who value “ready to enjoy” moments will appreciate the thoughtful onboard comforts. Air conditioning brings relief after a swim, and the coffee machine turns mornings into rituals rather than routines. For sea time, the bathing platform makes returns from the water easy, and the SUP stand up paddle invites a different kind of exploration—light, playful, and very Aegean.
We can say with certainty: the Oceanis 51.1 is a luxury-forward sailing option for Athens departures, built for chartering with style, ease, and a touch of drama—sun, wind, and horizon included!
