Yacht Overview
We have been advising sailing guests for many years, and the Bavaria Cruiser 46 built in 2017 is one of those models that consistently makes sense for an easy, comfortable charter in the Gulf of Naples area. Based on our experience with crews and our guests who have trusted us, Procida is especially rewarding when you want a compact sailing footprint, quick handling, and a layout that works well for mixed experience levels.
This sailboat (length 14.27 m, beam 4.35 m) is designed as a practical charter rental option, with 3 cabins and berths for 6 in the cabins plus 1 additional sleeping place. We think that “46” is a sweet spot: long enough to feel stable and spacious on board, yet manageable when docking in busy marinas. Actually, we have noticed that groups value the separate sleeping areas and the functional sanitation setup with 3 toilets.
For navigation and day-to-day convenience, we recommend taking advantage of the onboard VHF radio and autopilot. The bow thruster is a real help when wind and current make Procida’s berthing a bit tricky—!—and the electric anchor windlass with bimini top supports relaxed anchoring days. Safety-wise, the boat is equipped with radar reflector, life jackets and life belts, life raft, distress flare box, and an emergency tiller.
Technically, you will also find a cockpit GPS chart plotter, Tridata, and a barometer for weather awareness. For comfort on warm evenings, the cockpit shower and cockpit table make a difference. Our guests often tell us the bathing platform and swimming ladder are a highlight after short hops between coves—so yes, this Bavaria Cruiser 46 is built for cruising with real enjoyment!
