Sun Odyssey 440 sailboat – Sicily

Yacht Overview

Set your course for Sicily aboard the Sun Odyssey 440, a 2020 sailboat created for elegant charter escapes and relaxed days at sea. With her clean Jeanneau lines, generous beam of 4.27 m and length of 13.41 m, she feels immediately spacious, bright and reassuring under sail. This is a yacht made for Mediterranean living, where comfort, easy handling and a polished onboard atmosphere matter just as much as the destination itself.

She offers 4 cabins and accommodation for 8 guests in cabins, plus 2 additional berths, making her a fine choice for families or groups of friends who want to explore the Sicilian coast with style. Inside, the layout is practical and inviting, with a refrigerator, inverter and electric toilet adding welcome convenience on longer days afloat. Outside, the cockpit is designed for lingering: cushions, speakers, bimini top and sprayhood create a sociable space for sunny passages and evening anchorage alike. The tender is ready for shore visits and quiet coves, while snorkelling equipment invites spontaneous stops in clear water.

Sailing is supported by a full batten main, lazy bag and roll genoa, giving the Sun Odyssey 440 a balanced and enjoyable performance. Autopilot, chart plotter and bow thruster make manoeuvring easier, especially in busy marinas or during close-quarters handling. The result is a sailboat that combines modern technology with the pleasure of true cruising. She is not just practical; she feels considered, refined and ready.

From Palermo to the Aeolian Islands, from the volcanic drama of Stromboli to the luminous bays of the south, Sicily offers a magnificent backdrop for life under canvas. On board this Sun Odyssey 440, every crossing becomes part of the experience. Warm wind, open horizons, and the timeless rhythm of the sea!
