Boat Overview
We’ve chartered sailboats for many years, and the Oceanis 35.1 built in 2019 is a model we can recommend with confidence for guests who want confident day-to-day handling around Cannigione. Based on our experience, this is a practical two-cabin sailing yacht for a crew that values comfort without losing simplicity.
With a length of 10.45 m and a beam of 3.72 m, she’s well proportioned for Mediterranean cruising, and the 4 berths in two cabins make the layout feel calm and organized. Actually, guests who have trusted us often tell us they appreciate the extra flexibility of 2 additional berths when friends join for a short stay. There is 1 toilet onboard, which keeps planning straightforward for a rental sailing trip.
In Cannigione, we have noticed that fin stabilizing design (fins) helps the boat stay composed when conditions change. For navigation and safety, the yacht is equipped with a GPS plotter and a VHF radio, while the autopilot reduces workload during longer stretches. We also state with certainty that the presence of an anchor chain and an electric anchor windlass makes anchoring more efficient—especially when you’re hopping between coves.
For day-to-day convenience, the cockpit table and cockpit shower are small things that guests feel immediately. And when you’re out on the water, you’ll be glad for the bimini top, swimming ladder, and shore power cable! We also like that the onboard repair kit is included, because it’s exactly the kind of calm, responsible detail our guests expect.
Purpose-wise, this sailboat is clearly built for rental use: clear systems, manageable dimensions, and a layout that works. A confident choice for a technical, hassle-free sailing experience!
