Yacht Overview
We’ve worked with many sailing couples and small families in Göcek, and we can say with confidence that the Bavaria Cruiser 41 is a smart choice for a smooth charter experience. This 2019 sailboat is built for comfort under sail and for confident handling in the Aegean winds around Turkey. At 12.35 m length and 3.95 m beam, she offers a stable feel at anchor and predictable behavior when you’re maneuvering into bays.
Our guests who have trusted us with this model usually appreciate the layout first. There are 3 cabins with sleeping space for 6 in the cabins, plus 2 additional berths for extra flexibility. Two toilets make the daily routine far easier, especially on longer days between coves. Actually, the crew’s feedback is consistent: “We can breathe in here.”
From our experience, the sailing setup matters as much as the accommodation. The main sail and genoa were renewed in 2022, so you start your trip with dependable performance and good shape in changing wind. For navigation and safety, she’s equipped with GPS plotter, VHF radio, and a VHF DSC station, supported by radar reflector and echo sounder functions. Autopilot and bow thruster help a lot in Göcek’s often busy marinas—tight turns, quick corrections, and calm departures.
We also recommend planning your anchoring moments. An electric anchor windlass, cockpit shower, and bimini top make those stops genuinely comfortable. There’s a swimming ladder for quick dips, and the solar panel supports onboard power needs. Safety gear is complete, including life raft and life jackets, plus an emergency tiller for peace of mind.
And yes, we’ve noticed the practical touches: hot water, cooking facilities, and a well-prepared galley with basic kitchen utensils. It’s the kind of yacht that feels ready—right away.!
