Salona 41 sailboat – Ören

Yacht Overview

Based on our experience with guests who have booked in Turkey, the Salona 41 in Ören is a very practical choice for a skipper-led sailing holiday. We recommend it especially if you want a modern, purpose-built cruising sailboat that feels stable under sail and comfortable at anchor. This vessel was built in 2013, and its layout is designed around real charter use: three cabins for a clean, private setup, with sleeping space for 6 guests in cabins plus 2 additional berths.

We have noticed how the proportions matter here. At 12.5 meters length and 3.82 meters beam, she offers a confident deck presence without becoming bulky to handle in busy marinas. For comfort onboard, there are 2 toilets, which we state with certainty helps when several guests share the boat. Actually, the cabin count and the berth arrangement are the first things our visitors ask about, and this one answers them clearly!

From a technical standpoint, we can say with confidence that the onboard equipment supports day-to-day sailing and easy living. There is an autopilot for steady passages, a VHF radio for reliable communication, and navigation electronics including GPS/GPS plotter and an echo sounder with depth and speed information. Safety and convenience are both covered: the boat carries a distress flare box, a life raft, and a fog horn, while the cockpit is equipped with a sun tent, bimini top, and comfortable cushions.

When it comes to charter operations in Ören, you’ll also appreciate the practical systems: electric and mechanical bilge pumping, a 220V/12V converter, and a battery charger. Meals are straightforward thanks to the gas cooker and galley equipment, and after a swim the swimming ladder makes boarding simple. For guests who like to sail with confidence, we’d call this Salona 41 a well-balanced rental sailboat—ready for coastal routes and relaxed evenings, with a proper cockpit shower and a removable cockpit table for social time.
