The Bavaria C42 is a modern sailing yacht built for smooth, confident sailing during a charter stay in Punat, Croatia. Delivered in 2023, this 12.4 m sloop blends elegant lines with practical onboard comfort. With 3 cabins, it offers a refined layout for groups and families, plus 2 extra berths for flexible arrangements. In total, up to 6 guests can sleep in the cabins, while additional berths make last‑minute plans feel effortless.
This sailboat is designed for long days on the water—and for easy handling when the wind shifts. The self-tacking jib keeps workload low, and the autopilot adds calm precision on straight courses. Maneuvering in marinas is also supported by a bow thruster, so departures feel controlled, not rushed. A bimini top shades the cockpit, and the cockpit shower is a welcome detail after swimming from the bathing platform.
For navigation and communication, the yacht is equipped with a GPS plotter, wind/speed/depth instruments, and nautical charts, supported by a VHF radio for clear coordination with ports and crew. Two toilets ensure comfort for shared trips, while air conditioning and heating extend the season. Onboard entertainment is handled by an LCD TV, and outside speakers keep the mood right in the cockpit.
Safety and readiness are equally thorough. The package includes an inflatable life raft, life jackets, flares and torches, fog horn, first aid kit, and a windlass with electric anchor operation.
