Yacht Overview
We’ve assisted many guests sailing out of Athens, and the Oceanis 41.1 is one of those sailboats that consistently impresses. Built in 2017, this 12.43 m cruiser-racer style yacht is purpose-built for comfortable chartering, with a layout that feels practical from the very first day onboard.
On board, you’ll find 3 cabins accommodating 6 berths in total. For groups who want privacy without losing together-time, this configuration is ideal. There are 2 toilets, which we’ve noticed makes day-to-day life much easier when everyone is sharing the same cruising schedule.
The yacht is 4.2 m wide, giving it a stable, confidence-inspiring stance at anchor and underway. From our experience, that extra comfort matters most on the Greek routes around Athens, where conditions can change quickly—one moment calm water, the next a lively breeze!
We also recommend paying attention to the navigation and convenience package. The GPS plotter, VHF radio, and autopilot help keep things smooth, while the bow thruster is a real advantage during tight marina maneuvers in busy harbors. For sunny days, the bimini top and cockpit cushions create a shaded, relaxed cockpit. The electric anchor windlass makes anchoring less of a chore.
There’s a well-equipped galley for meal preparation, and a refrigerator for keeping provisions fresh. Entertainment and communication are covered with TV and a radio CD/MP3 player with USB and AUX input.
For safety, we state with certainty that the Oceanis 41.1 is properly prepared for charter use, including GMDSS, EPIRB distress radio beacons, and the required onboard safety equipment. Add the solar panel and wind instruments, and you get a sailboat that’s ready for worry-free time on the water.
If you’re looking for a modern, charter-friendly sailboat in Athens, we’d be happy to help you plan the best dates and route for your crew.
