Oceanis 46.1 sailing yacht – Sicily

Yacht Overview

We recommend the Oceanis 46.1 to guests who want a refined sailing holiday in Sicily, Italy, with the comfort of a modern and well-kept vessel. Built in 2020, this 14.63 m sailboat belongs to the standard line and, from our experience, it suits families, couples, and groups of friends who value space, easy handling, and elegant onboard living. We can say with confidence that the layout works very well for charter use: 4 cabins, 8 berths in cabins, plus 2 additional berths, and 4 toilets. That balance is exactly what many of our guests have been looking for when planning a relaxed cruise around the Sicilian coast.

Actually, one of the strongest points of this model is how pleasantly it sails while still feeling practical at anchor and in port. We have noticed that the bow thruster, autopilot, electric winches, and chart plotter make navigation smoother, especially for crews who want confidence during manoeuvres. The roll genoa and roll main sail add to the easy-sailing character, while the teak deck and cockpit cushions create a warm, elegant atmosphere on deck. We think the barbecue and coffee machine are lovely touches for long summer days and slow mornings at sea.

Our guests who have trusted us so far often appreciate the marina arrangement as well, because mooring on the first and last day in our marina is included. That makes the start and end of the holiday much more comfortable. The tender with outboard engine is useful for short trips ashore, and the refrigerator helps keep provisions fresh throughout the week. We also observed that the electric toilet and the overall layout contribute to a more comfortable stay on board.

For those seeking a sailing holiday in Sicily with a stylish, contemporary feel, the Oceanis 46.1 is a very appealing choice. We know it offers the right mix of comfort, performance, and practical details for memorable days at sea.
