Oceanis 46.1 sailing yacht – Messina

Yacht Overview

We know the Oceanis 46.1 very well, and from our experience she is one of those sailing yachts that immediately makes sense for a charter holiday in Sicily. Built in 2019 and kept in the standard line configuration, this 14.63 m sailboat combines a generous 4.57 m beam with a practical five-cabin layout, so she works especially well for families or groups of friends looking for comfort at sea without losing the true sailing feel. We can say with confidence that the ten berths in cabins and three toilets make daily life on board noticeably easier, especially on longer routes around Furnari and the nearby Tyrrhenian coast.

Actually, what our guests appreciate most is the balance between easy handling and solid equipment. The self tacking jib and roll main sail help with relaxed sailing, while the autopilot, bow thruster and chart plotter support precise manoeuvring and navigation. We have seen that these details matter a lot when entering marinas or sailing with a full crew. The electric winches also make sail handling smoother, and the teak deck gives the yacht a more refined and practical finish underfoot.

For comfort, the cockpit cushions, refrigerator and coffee machine add real value, and we think the electric toilet and inverter are useful touches for modern onboard living. The onboard tender with outboard engine is helpful for short trips ashore and anchoring days. Our guests who have booked with us so far often mention the marina mooring on the first and last day as a welcome advantage, because it makes embarkation and return much easier.

Based on our knowledge, this Oceanis 46.1 is a very capable choice for charter in Furnari, Italy, especially for guests who want a well-equipped sailing yacht with space, reliable systems and a comfortable layout.
