Sun Odyssey 440 sailboat – Göcek

Yacht Overview

We’ve guided many guests through the turquoise coves around Kaş, and the Sun Odyssey 440 is one of those rare sailboats that feels instantly composed—like it was built for effortless days and elegant evenings. This 2023 sailboat, designed for charter and rental, pairs a refined, family-friendly layout with a confident sailing presence. At 13 meters with a 4.29-meter beam, it strikes a beautiful balance: roomy where it matters, responsive where it counts.

With four cabins and berths for up to 8 guests, our clients tell us it’s the kind of arrangement that keeps everyone comfortable without turning the trip into a logistics puzzle. Two toilets add a welcomed sense of ease, especially when you’re moving between anchorages and harbor stops. And yes—when the wind shifts, the cockpit stays social. A bimini top brings shade; the cockpit table invites long conversations that stretch past sunset… and the cockpit shower is a small luxury you’ll genuinely appreciate.

From our experience, charter guests often notice the systems that reduce stress. Here, the VHF radio and GPS chart plotter (in the cockpit) help with clear, calm navigation. The autopilot and bow thruster make docking and low-speed maneuvering far less dramatic—actually, they’re the difference between “we’ll figure it out” and “we’re settled.”

We also love the practical touches: hot water, a refrigerator, an oven, and a stove for real meals onboard. The roll genoa and roll main sail simplify handling when conditions change quickly. Add solar support and an inverter, and you get a vessel that feels prepared for modern comfort.

If you’re coming to Kaş for a premium sailing holiday—this is the Sun Odyssey 440 we’d happily recommend.
